The Ochre Health project began in 2002 when I was working with Ross Lamplugh as a rural generalist in Bourke NSW.
Over the years I have tried to understand health inequality. If we can fix healthcare for the most vulnerable then we can fix healthcare for everyone.
So, what determines health outcomes? What does great health care look like? How can we measure outcomes that are meaningful to patients and clinicians? How can organisations make patients the centre of what we do? This blog provides some thoughts on this theme. The plan is to follow the data and see where it leads ….
